Door Specifications
Lots of people ask us "why are your prices so low?" The reason for that is
that we manufacture all items ourselves on the very latest CNC cutting and
machining equipment. This means our costs are low and we endeavour to
deliver on our own transport, or alternatively a premium carrier such as
TNT if you live in an area that our delivery team don't cover.
As standard, our doors have the following specifications:
- We use the Synseal Shield Profile System that is 70mm deep which is almost
the same as an existing timber door - which can make the difference between
not having to decorate when you take the old one out.
- We use steel reinforcement in all frame fixing points.
- The door price does include a frame, and is pre-hung with all locks
and hinges attatched.
- Each door has double weather seals.
- All our doors locks meet approval from the Association of British Insurers.
Our sash lifter lock has been awarded "Secured by Design Status"
by the Police and it has also been tested in a door To PAS 23/24 - the
latest security test.

- Each door comes with three keys and a five pin barrel.
- Brass plated door handles are supplied as standard.
- The hinges we use can each support 75 kilos on its stainless steel pin.
We use three giving a load of 225 kilos! Basically it makes more reliable,
and smoother to use.
- Each hinge can be moved in three directions using an allen key up to
six mm! This allows very easy set-up.
- Pilkington glass is used and complies with part L 2002 regulations. Each
sealed glass unit is 28mm with a 20mm air gap.
- All doors are internally beaded for maximum security.
- The gaskets are inserted and the beads are cut to size in the factory.
- A fixing kit and instructions are included.
